CHIEVO VERONA-INTER MILAN. Inter travelled to Verona to take on Chievo without the suspended Zlatan Ibrahimovic. The Swede wasn’t missed during the opening stages of the game as Hernan Crespo put the visiting side one up just three minutes into the game. The home side was to fight back and around the half hour mark Pierre Marcolini blasted in the equalizer. After the interval Mario Balotelli reinstated Inter’s lead with a wonder goal but to his dismay former Inter winger Luciano Oliveira levelled the score with fifteen minutes to go – which means that the Nerazzurri will have to wait another week before the Scudetto celebration.
AC MILAN-JUVENTUS. Without a doubt the highest anticipated game week 35 had to offer. After a scoreless first half at the San Siro, the scoring got underway in the second. Clarence Seedorf gave Milan the lead on 57 minutes but to the 80.000 Rossonerifans, Vincenzo Iaquinta levelled the score just three minutes later with an impressive diving header. 1-1 means status quo in the standings with three games to go.
CAGLIARI-AS ROMA. Cagliari managed to put two goals past Artur in the Roma game through Matri and Aquafresca before Totti and Perrotta completed an impressive comeback. Er Pupone had a golden opportunity to seal the win, but unfortunately his effort sailed over the crossbar. Spalletti was proud over his men after the game but refused to comment on his future at the capital club.
SSC LAZIO-UDINESE. Rocchi put Lazio upfront with a delicious long range effort but the Udine team wanted differently. A stunning free kick goal from D’Agostino along with goals from Floro Flores and Quagliarella saw the visiting side snatch all three points.
