Manchester Utd have stunned Arsenal 3-1 at the Emirates Stadium in the Uefa Champions League semi final second leg after last week victory of 1-0 at Old Trafford to progress for the second year running in the Final.
Manchester Utd will now play the winner of the Wednesday semi final between Chelsea and Barcelona.
Manchester Utd took the lead with a Ji-Sung Park goal at the 7th minute after Kieran Gibbs slipped while two minute later Cristiano Ronaldo scored Man Utd’s second goals from a 35 yards Free kick after Robin Van Persie had challenged him unfairly.
After Man Utd second goals Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger had retreated from his technical area to his seat with a face of total despair.
After the break, Emmanuel Eboue came on for Kieran Gibbs for Arsenal while Sir Alex Ferguson side continued to put pressure on Arsenal.
At the 60th minute Man Utd stunned the Emirates Stadium with a third goal and a Cristiano Ronaldo double.
At the 73th minute Robin Van Persie scored a consolation goal from the penalty spot fro Arsenal after Francesc Fabregas was fouled by Darren Fletcher. Arsenal was awarded a penalty while Darren Fletcher was sent Off by referee Roberto Rosetti.
Machester Utd will now play either Chelsea or Barcelona in the Uefa Champions League Final at Rome.
