West Brom has been relegated from the English Premier Leguea after defeat from Liverpool at Hawthorns.
Liverpool made two changes from the side which have beaten West Ham last time out. Centre-back Daniel Agger started ahead of Martin Skrtel, while left-back Emiliano Insua got the nod over Fabio Aurelio.West Brom striker Roman Bednar was not in the squad after being suspended by the club following newspaper drugs allegations.
Liverpool took the lead at the 28th minute with a goal from Captain Steven Gerrard while one minute before the break Jonas Olsson was awarded a yellow card after a foul on Fernando Torres.
Liverpool continued to pressure West Brom and at the 62th minute Dirk Kuyt found the back of the West Brom net with a goal from just outside the area to the bottom right corner.
At the 67th Minute Ryan Babel came on in place of Fernando Torres while Luke Moore replaced Youssouf Mulumbu for West Brom.
Defeat from Liverpool means that West Brom is now relegated from the English Premier League.
