In the UEFA Cup qaurter final first leg, Werder Bremen have beaten the only Italian side left in the competition, Udinese, 3-1.
Werder Bremen have a double from Diego and one from Hugo Almeida while the only Udinese goal came from Fabio Quagliarella at the 87min.
Claudio Pizarro have a goal ruled out referee Laurent Duhamel.Udinese hope is still alive, thanks to the away goal, and the next week they will try to do their best infront of their fans.
