Shakhtar Donetsk have taken a big step towards the UEFA Cup semi final after thursday beating of Marseille 2-0 in RSK Olympyiskyi, Ukraine.Shakhtar Donetsk was superior to Marseille which look without big defence.Tomas Hubschman put the first goal at the 39min for the Ukrainian in the first half.

Marseille showed no improve in the second half and at the 69min Rodrigues Jadson scored the second goal for the Shakhtar Donetsk.

Shakhtar Donetsk have beaten Tottenham and CSKA Moscow in the last two rounds, and have made it a difficult task for the Marseille team for the return leg of the UEFA Cup at the Velodrome Stadium next week.
