In the UEFA Champions League quarter final second leg Manchester have beaten FC Porto 1-0(3-2agg) with a stunning Cristiano goal and made it to the semi final against Arsenal which won 3-0(4-1agg) against Villarreal.
Man Utd have made four changes from the team that drew with Porto at Old Trafford, with Paul Scholes, Darren Fletcher, Ji-Sung Park and Jonny Evans replaced with Anderson, Ryan Giggs, Dimitar Berbatov and Rio Ferdinand.FC Porto have made no change from Last Tuesday team.
Man Utd started the first half completely in control of the game and at 6min Cristiano Ronaldo gave Man Utd the lead from a sensational 39yards strike to the top left corner of the FC Porto net.
FC Porto got a blow when at the 31min Lucho Gonzalez was stretchered out and replaced by Mariano.
Man Utd have dominated the first half but failed to increase their lead and it ended 1-0 for Man Utd at Half Time.
In the second half, Man Utd continued to put pressure on FC Porto in search of the second goal.
At the 77min Man Utd goalkeeper,Edwin van der Sar misjudged a corner from Jose Raul Meireles to Jorge Rolando who header the ball over the crossbar.
In the last 10min FC Porto started to increase the tempo and pressure on Man Utd and they nearly came to the equaliser several times.
