Bayern Munich will have a big hill to climb this Tuesday when they host Barcelona in the UEFA Champions league quarter final 2nd leg.Bayern Munich have not been able to cope with Leo Messi and Samuel Eto’o in the first leg as Barca went in four up at half-time.
Bayern Munich will be looking to restore their pride and coach Juergen Klinsmann said that with the victory against Frankfurt in the weekend the team have repaired part of the damage but the team have a lot to do on Tuesday so that Bayern can say goodbye to the competition in a good way.
Bayern will get back defenders Lucio and Philipp Lahm and coach but will still without striker Miroslav Klose.
Barcelona coach Pep Guardiola said in a news conference that he does not believe that Bayern have already given up and that Bayern are capable of scoring four goals.Pep Guardiola will be watching from the stands having been sent off last week for protesting referee Howard Webb’s decision to book Lionel Messi.
Barcelona will be without defender Rafael Marquez, who is suspended after picking up a yellow card last Wednesday.
