In the Coca-Cola Football League Championship, 4th placed Cardiff will be in search for a fourth successive wins and also kept their chance of automatic promotion alive when they travel to 8th placed Preston North End.Cardiff have a chance of going third this Saturday if they beat Preston by four goals.

With 42 matches played and 73pts Cardiff chance of an automatic promotion is up since second placed Birmingham have 77pts for 43 matches played and third placed Sheffield United have 76pts for 43 matches played.

The leader Wolverhampton will host 10th placed Queens Park Rangers while second placed Birmingham will be travelling at 14th placed Watford FC.

Sheffield Wednesday will be looking to end their two successive losses when they host 23th placed Southampton. After beating 13th placed Crystal Palace last week, Southampton hope of getting out of the relegation zone have increased and with 44pts currently a win will give them hope and a life-line.

The battle to get out of the relegation zone have produced some stunning results lately, with Charlton Athletic drawing against 14th placed Coventry City last week.Charlton Athletic manager said last week that if Charlton had produced the same type of play they produced against Coventry City the whole season, they would have been out of the relegation zone long ago.

This Week, Charlton will host 18th placed Blackpool FC and they will count on the home fans to produce a win.Last time Charlton played against Blackpool home they beaten Blackpool 4-1, while previous head to head last December produced a 2-0 victory for Blackpool.

A difficult task for 21th placed Barnsley this Saturday when they will travel to 5th placed Reading.Barnsley battle to get out of the relegation could be jeopardised if they registered a defeat although they have a match in hand.

Elsewhere Crystal Palace will try to end its two successive losses when they host 17th placed Derby County while 7th placed Swansea City will be looking for a third successive wins when they host 9th placed Bristol City FC. Plymouth Argyle FC will host 16th placed Doncaster Rovers.
